Google has been penalizing this site in its search rankings for years and a Google employee lied about it. Since they have almost killed this site, I am going to start releasing details on Monday August 17 of my conversation with the Google employee who told me about the penalty in secret. - (sic) is not slang, it is from the Latin 'sic erat scriptum' which means "thus, it has been written" and is used to show you have copied a piece of text (including spelling mistakes).
Slipknot titled a song from their self-titled album "sic" and now a generation of idiots think it means "sick".
